In Memoriam: John M. “Mack” Gillis

HATTIESBURG, MS – John M. “Mack” Gillis, former superintendent of grounds at The University of Southern Mississippi, died Mar. 30 at Forrest General Hospital. He was 74. Gillis also served as director for motor pool services at the University of Southern Miss, and retired from the university in 2001 after 34 years of service.
