Layton Police Fleet Gets New Camera System

LAYTON, UT – The Layton, Utah, police department’s entire fleet has been fitted with onboard digital camera systems. The cameras help document what goes on at a crime scene and makes cases a lot easier to present in court.

According to Officer Jason Nordgran of the Layton Police Department, “When we pull into the station, the digital recorders hot sync to our station and then immediately, wirelessly transmit everything,” as quoted by
