USPS to Deliver Alternative-Fuel Vehicle Case Study at eyefortransport's Effective Fuel Management for Fleets Conference

MIAMI, FL – At the upcoming eyefortransport Effective Fuel Management for Fleets Conference, Julie Rios, executive director, Energy Initiatives at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), will present an industry evaluation and report about the lessons learned from managing the largest alternative-fuel vehicle fleet in the US.

The conference will be held at the Miami Radisson Hotel, Feb. 20-21, 2007, at the Miami Radisson Downtown Hotel.

This keynote presentation will discuss the challenges and solutions to operating and maintaining a fleet of 37,000 alternative-fuel vehicles and evaluate the various kinds of alternative fuels, including biodiesel, electric vehicles, and compressed natural gas and ethanol, which USPS utilizes within its fleet.
