FOREST PARK, IL – An employee at a carwash in Forest Park jumped into a police car and drove off, only to hit several parked cars and injure a police officer and two fellow carwash employees, CBS2 reported. The incident occurred Sept. 16 at the Harlem and Randolph Carwash where the Forest Park police car was being washed. For some unknown reason, the employee drove the car out into traffic where he struck one car, returned to the carwash lot where the he hit several more cars, and hit the police officer and two other employees, the CBS2 story noted. The driver tried to flee but was caught by responding police about two blocks away. None of the injuries was believed to be serious.
