SAN DIEGO, CA – The U.S. Army National Automotive Center (NAC), in partnership with WestStart, is holding a Hybrid Truck Users Forum on Nov. 14-16 in San Diego, Calif. WestStart and the NAC operate a national collaborative program built around fleet operators interested in learning about, setting requirement for, and deploying hybrid trucks, all in an effort to cut fuel use and emissions. HTUF participants represent nearly 1 million trucks.

The forum — hosted by ISE Corporation, Maxwell Technologies, and Siemens — is geared for fleet operators and users, manufacturers, suppliers, and transportation specialists. For more information, visit www.htuf.org or call (626) 744-5600.

Agenda: Tues., Nov. 14: Fleet-only working group meetings, followed by an evening reception.
Wed., Nov. 15: A full day of briefings and information sharing from fleets and manufacturers on hybrid truck operational results, technology updates, funding developments, and the status of test processes for fuel economy and emissions, followed by a great networking dinner.
Thurs., Nov. 16: A half day featuring the HTUF ride and drive of medium and heavy-duty hybrid trucks. Fleet members receive priority to kick the tires and drive these vehicles.
