Commonwealth of Kentucky Adds Wireless Fleet Management Services

BURNABY, B.C. – The Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Corrections awarded WebTech Wireless Inc., a mobile telematics supplier, a contract for wireless fleet management services for prisoner transport vehicles. The Department of Corrections has deployed WebTech’s vehicle tracking system for accurate real-time location information of their prisoner transport vehicles – knowing exactly where each vehicle is at any given time.Future rollouts for the Commonwealth of Kentucky may involve deployment in parole officer vehicles, allowing the officers to file reports and have them location and time-stamped for a higher level of efficiency and accuracy.
