PORT ANGELES, WA – Clallam County, Wash.’s plan to buy a hybrid vehicle met with silence from local dealers, according to the Web site konp.com/. The county put out a call for bids to buy one of the vehicles that operate on a combination of gasoline and electricity. However, no local dealers took the county up on the bid. The county may still get one of the vehicles and could go through a state purchasing pool to get it.
