Fleet Awards to be Presented to Ft. Worth and Ft. Wayne

FT. WORTH, TEXAS and FT. WAYNE, IN – Austin Energy will sponsor a seminar by Fort Worth Fleet Department Nov. 17. Purdue University will host the city of Fort Wayne, Ind., Dec. 15.Fort Worth was named the most efficient fleet operation in America for 2005 by the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP). They will be discussing award criteria and efficiencies.The program is open to all fleet managers. Other nationally known speakers will also be presenting. The city is among only two fleets in America that have been ISO90001-certified along with the only public fleet in Indiana to be Blue Seal-certified using Six Sigma to ensure quality.The program is open to the public.
