Putnam FD Donates Truck to Hurricane-Damaged Mississippi Town

LAKE CARMEL, NY — A fire truck has been delivered to Kiln, Miss., courtesy of the Lake Carmel fire department, according to the Associated Press. The 1982 Ford Oren Pumper is stocked with hoses, tools, and other fire-fighting equipment. The truck was signed with messages of “good luck” from firefighters and locals to those in the Gulf area hit by the hurricanes.
