CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Chesterfield County Fleet Management, a division of the General Services Department, earned the International Standards Organization (ISO) for Standardization 14001 certification. Chesterfield County is only the second county in the nation to earn the certification.
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA — Chesterfield County Fleet Management, a division of the General Services Department, earned the International Standards Organization (ISO) for Standardization 14001 certification. Chesterfield County is only the second county in the nation to earn the certification.
ISO is a worldwide non-governmental federation of 156 national-standards bodies and is a developer of standards. ISO standards contribute to making the development, manufacture, and supply of products and services more efficient, safer, and cleaner. ISO also provides governments with a technical base for health, safety, and environmental legislation.
