BRAMPTON, ONTARIO – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the 2006 Dodge Charger the government's highest rating for frontal-impact crash protection. Dodge Charger's five-star rating for frontal-crash protection makes it the 10th new product from the Chrysler Group to achieve the top-safety rating. The 2006 Dodge Charger's active safety technology includes Standard Electronic Stability, an all-speed traction control system and a four-wheel, anti-lock brake system. Those accident avoidance features also are coupled with a host of passive safety equipment.
