HARTFORD, CT – The state of Connecticut is adding 575 hybrids to its fleet of vehicles, according to Newsday. About 125 hybrid vehicles will be integrated into the state's fleet early this summer, Gov. M. Jodi Rell said. According to the governor's office, the cost of the vehicles is $2.6 million. Cities, towns, schools and nonprofit organizations will also be able to take advantage of the terms of the contract to purchase their own clean vehicles, state officials said.
