LOS ANGELES – A $374,447 contract was awarded to Gardena Honda by the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners for the purchase of 17 compact sedans that operate on compressed natural gas. The sedans will be used at Los Angeles International Airport and Ontario International Airport. The purchase is part of Los Angeles World Airports' (LAWA) ongoing vehicle replacement schedule. LAWA currently operates over 400 alternative-fuel vehicles in its fleet.
