Polk County Testing Five Ford Hybrid Escapes

BARTOW, FL – Polk County will begin testing five hybrid Ford Escapes in it's vehicle fleet beginning in mid-March, according to www.polkonline.com. Ford says that the Escapes will get around 38 miles per gallon on the highway and 31 in the city. Oil changes should come every 10,000 miles, along with long-life brakes and lengthy warranties, according to Stanton.
