Interactive E-85 Fleet Toolkit Helps Fleet Managers Build Fueling Infrastructure

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) EPAct Regulated Fleet Initiatives made public the E-85 Fleet Toolkit, an online tool designed to help fleet managers build ethanol-fueling infrastructures.A DOE survey revealed that fleet managers needed a "one-stop shop" for E-85 infrastructure information. The survey inspired the online project. The toolkit walks fleets through the ins and outs of E-85 and the infrastructure planning process. The toolkit offers help in evaluating the best E-85 options for their organizations, learning about equipment and technologies, and finding out about infrastructure codes, standards, and permits.
