SUMMIT COUNTY, CO – Summit County received its first gasoline- and electric-powered hybrid vehicle, according to the Summit Daily News. The county received a Ford Escape hybrid.
The hybrid was suggested by Commissioner Bill Wallace, who drives a 2003 Honda Civic hybrid. The Ford Escape will save the county on cost, emissions, and fuel consumption.
