Florida State Fleet to Add 21 Escape Hybrids

TALLAHASSEE, FL – The first two of 21 Ford Escape Hybrid SUVs have been received by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). DEP's hybrid fleet number will reach 71 with the addition of the new hybrids. The fleet also has more than 200 alternative fuel vehicles. The alt-fuel vehicles and the hybrids constitute 20 percent of the entire DEP fleet.
