ATC Selects DriveCam for Fleet of Transit Buses

February 8, 2005

SAN DIEGO – ATC has selected the Driving Feedback System from DriveCam Video Systems for ATC's 1,600 transit buses in its national fleet. The DriveCam system prevents accidents and reduces liability by identifying and improving unsafe driving behavior.

The system includes a windshield-mounted, dual lens video camera that records sights and sounds, both inside and outside the vehicle. Unsafe driving triggers the system recording function 10 seconds before and after an accident.

Any recorded driving accidents are uploaded from a vehicle to the company's network using DriveCam's analysis software. Each incident is rated for its severity and is identified as a specific event type.
