HACKENSACK, NJ – I.D. Systems Inc. has announced that it has received a contract from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to deploy I.D. Systems' Wireless Asset Net industrial equipment tracking and management system. The system will be integrated at USPS facilities nationwide.

With a minimum guaranteed value of approximately $4 million, the contract will integrate the system at eight major USPS facilities, and over the duration of the three-year contract, the system could be extended to 460 facilities.

Wireless devices will be installed on vehicles and I.D. Systems will customize the system functionality to meet USPS needs. Turnkey implementation services and technical support will be provided by I.D. Systems along with subcontracted services from Unisys Corp. Unisys has experience managing and supporting U.S. government programs.
