LOS ANGELES - Two San Fernando, Calif., city employees were charged with felony misappropriation of public funds, according to KNBC TV. A 25-year-old management analyst is accused of funneling $10,000 for city work that was not performed. He is also accused of borrowing a city-owned truck to carry 300 bottles of beer to his wedding in August. A 53-year-old equipment supervisor is accused of directing the city´s motor pool to modify the truck used to carry beer, including adding a trailer hitch. Also, he allegedly directed contractors to submit fraudulent invoices to the city. Each was released on $125,000 bail and is awaiting arraignment.
