Simon to Retire After Being Santa Clara County Fleet Manager for 22 years

MARTINEZ, CA -- Richard Simon, fleet manager for Santa Clara County, has decided to take an early retirement package from the county. He has worked for Santa Clara County for 30 years – eight years as an accountant and 22 years as fleet manager. Simon was also the past chairman of the NAFA Alternate Fuels Committee. No replacement has been named for Simon as of press time. Simon’s last day of work will be July 2, 2004.Simon and his wife are planning to relocate to Palm Desert, Calif., in the fall.
