The Pueblo (Colo.) Police Department will add 22 new Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles after the city council approved a $1.1 million, five-year lease agreement for the vehicles.

These vehicles will replace some of the department’s 81 units, many of which have high mileage and have unsightly wear and tear, the Pueblo Chieftan reported.

Police staff expect the vehicles to be ready for use by September.
