Isuzu Manufacturing Services of America is recalling 13,671 Isuzu NPR, Isuzu NPR-HD, Chevrolet W3500, Chevrolet W4500, GMC W3500 and GMC W4500 gasoline trucks in the 2006-2008 model years.

Dealers will address a fire risk tied to potential fuel leaks, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The trucks have a Tankcraft-made fuel tank that might corrode and leak fuel.

The Isuzu NPR, Isuzu NPR-HD, Chevrolet W3500 and Chevrolet W4500 trucks were manufactured from March 16, 2005, to Aug. 13, 2008. The GMC W3500 and GMC W4500 trucks were manufactured from July 18, 2005, to Aug. 13, 2008.

Dealers will replace the fuel tank, free of charge. Truck owners can reach Isuzu customer service at (866) 441-9638.
