General Motors has added a few minor features to its Tahoe PPV and Tahoe Special Service for the 2016 model year, the automaker has announced.

The all-wheel-drive Tahoe Special Service, which is not pursuit rated, will receive an available off-road package that includes a 3.42 axle ratio, Duratrac off-road tires, and 18-inch wheels. The vehicle will also offer two additional exterior colors, including Slate Gray and Siren Red Tintcoat. GM first introduced the vehicle with the 2015 model year.

The rear-wheel Tahoe PPV received three updates for 2016, including optional aluminum wheels, a track detect mode that doesn't require a button push for StabiliTrak, and a new exterior color of Slate Gray.

The engine and powertrain lineups for the vehicles return from the 2015 model year.
