Prince George's County firefighters added a pink ambulance to their fleet to go along with a pink pumper truck to raise awareness for breast cancer this month.

The Prince George's County Fire/Emergency Medical Services Department is seeking the public's help to name Paramedic Transport Unit 812, which joins the pink fire truck named Pinky that was added into service in 2013.

The new vehicle is one of nine ambulances being placed into service this year with the agency. Each costs about $250,000, according to an agency blog post.

The department has asked the public to send ambulance name ideas to the agency's Twitter account (@PGFDPIO) using the hashtag #PGFDPINK in the tweet. The agency will accept ideas through the end of July.
