Altec Industries Inc. is recalling 168 2010-2013 model-year AH75, AH85 and AH100 bucket trucks to replace the control module wiring harness, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

When moisture seeps into the control module plug, this condition can cause the boom or platform to inadvertently move and create a safety hazard for the operator or anyone nearby.

The recall, expected to get under way Feb. 14, affects trucks manufactured from April 1, 2010, through Nov. 20, 2013.

Truck owners can reach Altec at 1-877-462-5832. The company’s number for this recall is CSN 592.
