Colorado's Governor Signs Bill Requiring Agencies to Buy Alt-Fuel Fleet Vehicles

Pennsylvania Senator Wants State to Conduct Natural Gas Fleet Conversion Study

Pennsylvania State Senator Timothy Solobay has introduced a resolution, SR 38, in the Pennsylvania Senate to direct the State’s Department of General Services to conduct a study that would analyze whether the State can convert its fleet to run on natural gas.

Columbus to Place 18 CNG Automated Side Loaders Into Service by End of 2013

The City of Columbus will have a total of 64 CNG units in service in total by year-end 2013. Out of that number, 18 will be CNG automated side loaders.

The City of Columbus, Ohio, plans to place an additional 44 dedicated CNG units into service by the end of 2013. Columbus is also currently building a second CNG fueling site located on the north side of the city.

Legislation Extends Alt-Fuel Incentives

WASHINGTON - The Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2010 (HR 4853), passed by Congress and signed into law by President Obama on Dec. 17, includes extensions of two key incentives for natural gas vehicles. In addition, the law extends the ethanol tax credit through 2011, and retroactively extends the biodiesel tax incentive and the renewable diesel incentive through 2011.
