Charlotte County Settles Lawsuit over Damage of Leased Faclity

Charlotte County, Fla., settled a lawsuit over damage of the pavement and exterior siding of a leased fleet facility, awarding Denjer Enterprises Inc. $100,000. The County leased a fleet building from Denjer after the County’s own building was destroyed in Hurricane Charley in 2004.

Germantown, Tenn., Constructing New Fleet Services Facility

The City of Germantown, Tenn., broke ground on a new fleet maintenance facility on Jan. 23. The new facility is east of the City’s existing public services complex. The City stated construction should be complete by October.
