WASHINGTON - A New York-based diesel filter systems company has agreed to pay the United States $628,000 to resolve allegations that it did not provide agencies purchasing through the GSA contract the lowest prices.

SACRAMENTO - The California Air Resources Board fined the Imperial Irrigation District $45,375. Investigators found the district neglected to install particulate filters on its trucks, record smoke emissions, and report on off-road diesel equipment use.
