Wendell Fire and Police Departments Receive Donated UTVs

WENDELL, NC – The Wendell Fire and Police Departments each received a donated MECHRON 2200 UTV from KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA, Inc. Both departments plan to share the use of their MECHRON 2200 UTVs with other local organizations.

A vehicle icon at the center of the device changes the color of the icon (from green to yellow to red), and surrounds it with rings that indicate the severity of a driving maneuver.

DeKalb County Doubles Number of CNG Fuel Sites in Area

DECATUR, GA – The first new station is located at the Seminole Road Landfill in Ellenwood, Ga. and opened on Oct. 10, and the second one is a public fueling station operated by American Fueling Systems (AFS) that opened on Oct. 11.

Gainesville Begins Construction of Consolidated Maintenance Facility

GAINESVILLE, FL – The $11.42 million consolidated facility will be used to service 1,450 units from utilities, fire, police, public works, and other departments. The City of Gainesville Commission approved additional funding for the project in September.
