APWA 2017 Public Works Expo

The American Public Works Association (APWA) will hold its 2017 Public Works Expo (PWX) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando August 27-30.

The annual event is a gathering of public works professionals from around the country. In 2016, PWX expanded its focus on fleet, offering more educational sessions for fleet managers.

NCSFA State Fleet Managers Workshop

The 2017 National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) State Fleet Managers Workshop will be held Sept. 12-14 at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown in Iowa. Registration will open Wednesday, April 5th.

The theme of this year’s event is “Connecting Your Fleet to the Future.” It will feature rides in autonomous vehicles during the social events at the hotel and many educational sessions. Updated conference information will be posted on the NCSFA Workshop 2017 website.

The two-day event includes general sessions about metrics, downtime, parts management, remarketing, fuel management, technology, and more. The event also features an exhibitor expo, connecting fleet managers to fleet providers in their area.

This PFS event will take place Oct. 30-31 in Long Beach, Calif. It is hosted by the City of Long Beach Fleet Department.
