Isuzu Commercial Truck has reached a sales milestone for its gasoline-powered N-Series cabovers, by producing number 20,000 earlier this week. The milestone truck was sold to a dealer in the southeastern U.S.

Isuzu produces the NPR and NPR-HD low cab forward truck that's powered by a 6.0L V-8 that makes 297 hp and 372 lb.-ft. of torque. The trucks include an optional CNG/LPG capable engine. The NPR cabovers come with a GVWR of 12,000 pounds and a GCWR of 18,000 pounds, while the NPR-HD come with a GCWR of 14,500 pounds and a GCWR of 20,500 pounds in classes 3 and 4 respectively. The trucks can be purchased with a standard or crew cab configuration.

Isuzu's N-Series is typically used as an urban delivery vehicle in commercial fleets. Government fleet users purchase it for use as a sweeper truck or fuel truck at airports.
