Spartan ERV, a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc. has introduced its new MPA 65’, a multi-function pumper aerial apparatus. The company said the vehicle offers all the features of a QUINT. For example, the MPA 65’ pumper (equipped for fire suppression) allows trucks to be configured with a 1,250-1,500 gallon-per-minute pump, 1,000 gallon-per-minute telescopic aerial waterway, and has a 500-gallon water capacity.

The MPA 65' aerial (equipped for elevated operations) comes equipped with a three-section, 65-ft. lightweight, aluminum ladder on a single axle, multi-axis aerial control, an automatic ladder leveling system, and envelope controls to simplify setup and enhance safety, the company stated.

Spartan said it engineered the MPA 65' rescue (equipped for the field) setup for quick deployment. It features a proprietary body system that reduces weight and offers easy storage, with 400 cu. ft. of compartment space, the company stated.

The MPA 65’ is priced at $350,000 to $425,000 in order to meet the needs of organizations in today’s price-sensitive marketplace, Spartan stated.
