A Cleveland Water (Ohio) van fell into a sinkhole last week while the driver was investigating a water main, reports WKYC. An employee was investigating a possible water main leak when the street started to collapse, his van sinking with it.  When he arrived, there was a small crack in the street, but when he went to retrieve his tools, the street started to collapse and the van sunk with it. The employee was not harmed.

The cause of the sinkhole is still unknown, according to Fox 8. The water main being investigated was first installed in 1913, but this is the first record of it breaking in 30 years. While repairing the sinkhole, Cleveland Water employees also found a damaged sewer.
