Ninety five percent of delegates who attended the 2014 User Group meeting of fleet management software provider Chevin Fleet Solutions said they would recommend the event to a colleague, according to the company.

Fleet managers who operate more than 150,000 vehicles took part in the group, including municipalities, automotive manufacturers, utilities, insurance companies, van pool service providers and equipment rental companies.

Subjects tackled at the Sheraton Suites in Chicago included topics such as fleet utilization and replacement modeling, preventive maintenance scheduling, data management and reporting, system integration, and mobile and remote data collection.

"To receive such excellent feedback is very gratifying. The quality of interaction was extremely high indeed and made me feel fortunate to be involved with such a forward thinking and intelligent customer base," said Ron Katz, senior vice president of North American sales.

Clients that attended the User Group meeting all use Chevin's Web-based enterprise fleet management information system, FleetWave, to manage their fleets, the same system that has been adopted by fleets managing more than 800,000 pieces of equipment around the world.

Recent contract signings for FleetWave in the include Hydro Ottawa, Northeast Utilities Pike Electric, D.C. Water, Bell Canada, Washington Gas, Penn West, Henkels and McCoy, and NESCO Equipment.
