Storm Triggers Deadly Pileup in Mich.

A blinding snow storm on Dec. 8 caused a major pileup on I-96 near Lansing, Mich., killing three people and injuring 11. Drivers of big commercial trucks were among those who struggled to maintain control on the slick highway -- and several were unsuccessful. Especially in wintry driving conditions, motorists need to take extra precautions in sharing the road with heavy-duty commercial trucks.
