GREENVILLE, NC - Greenville Police recently unveiled six new Crown Victoria vehicles into its fleet, reported WITN-TV.

According to Lt. R.A. Williams, the department hasn't changed its look in more than two decades. "The current package has been in place for 21 years and this was a chance to update our look a little bit. We saved a considerable amount of money with this package over the previous package," said Lt. R.A. Williams.

The cruisers also have the department's new logos and are expected to be more recognizable than the previous models. Each costs $30,000 and is part of the city's vehicle replacement plan, WITN said.

Three more cruisers will arrive in the spring. Two more cars will also be added to the fleet, thanks to grant funds, reported WITN.
