SoundOff Signal Introduces StrobeWise for Collision Avoidance and Rear Impact Defense

April 01, 2009 - Press Release

HUDSONVILLE, MI StrobeWise is the next breakthrough in collision avoidance and rear impact defense. StrobeWise, produced under license from TransSystems by SoundOff Signal, can provide up to 10 seconds of additional warning time over and above brake lights to following vehicles thus warning them of a slowing or stopping vehicle that has yet to engage the traditional brake light features.

The StrobeWise system has been designed for both vehicles utilizing a center high mount LED Light, as well as motorcycles, by incorporating a rear fender mounted signal light. Tom Palumbo, vice president of Sales & Marketing at SoundOff Signal, reminds us that this technology is even more ideally suited for application on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles who often DO NOT use brakes during initial deceleration. As fleet and commercial vehicle owners are constantly looking for ways to better protect their vehicles and drivers - StrobeWise is positioned well to capture these markets.
