The fleet coordinator for the City of Augusta (Ga.) has been arrested and accused of stealing $65,000 in fleet remarketing funds, WJBF.com reported.

Patricia Lee Ystenes, a 15-year employee, is accused to taking $16,750 this year in cash from the sale of surplus items on GovDeals.com and $49,301 in 2014.

Fleet Manager Ron Crowden told WJBF that Ystenes betrayed his trust. After the arrest, the city signed a new contract with the online remarketing company stating it will no longer accept cash payments for auctioned vehicles.
