AGA Systems, LLC has completed testing for certification by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency of its EcoSync DI bi-fuel propane autogas alternative fuel system for 2016 General Motors vehicles including Chevrolet/GMC 1500 trucks, large SUVs, and the Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle.

The certification would apply to the EcoTec3 direct injection engine that's used in General Motors trucks and large SUVs.

This would be the first EPA certification for bi-fuel propane on this engine platform. EcoSync is a bi-fuel control technology that's paired with the EcoTec3 engine platform to enable conversion to bi-fuel operation with compressed natural gas or propane.

Vehicle orders can either be arranged by AGA or one of the company’s regional installers can manage the transaction through a selling dealership.
