The San Jacinto County (Texas) Sheriff's Office is purchasing used police vehicles to replace its aged fleet — some vehicles on the road have 300,000 miles on them. The vehicles to be purchased include two Ford Crown Victorias and a Chevrolet Tahoe, costing $18,000 total, the Eastex Advocate reported.

County commissioners may approve the purchase of more vehicles in the future and discussed an inter-local agreement with other public agencies for vehicles.
