The City of Cincinnati upgraded its fleet of snow equipment ahead of winter weather. The city purchased 10 new snow plows and unveiled new tools, including a snow plow tracker that allows residents to view streets, in real-time, as they are treated during a winter event.
Crews began winter preparation in September, practicing routes and reviewing components in the trucks, such as proper snow plow operation and material application. They have inspected and calibrated equipment, reviewed and revised snow routes, and examined weather forecasts.
