Franklin County, N.Y., will replace more than two dozen aging vehicles with 2017 models leased from Enterprise Fleet Management, the Press Republican reported.

The lease for the new fleet of 37 vehicles will cost about $170,000, and selling off used vehicles will net about $190,000, according to Enterprise.

The county expects to save money on maintenance and replacement parts, which are becoming difficult to acquire as vehicles age. If the company does not reach its projected cost-savings goal, it must make up the difference.
