The City of Wichita, Kan., is having problems getting contractors to help city staff with snow plowing because the businesses are already too busy, KWCH reported.

The city has 50 snow plows and wanted to contract five to 10 dump trucks with plows to supplement the fleet but was unsuccessful after months of trying.

With time running out, the city now plans to build up the fleet and change the way it plows, the news source reported.
