Michigan State Police Celebrates 100 Years with Black and Gold Cars

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Michigan State Police deployed 50 special edition black and gold patrol cars. The fully equipped 2016 Dodge Chargers are painted to resemble the department's 1937 Ford Model 74 patrol car.

Tucson Police Need $21M to Replace Aging Fleet

Calif. City Approves $5.9 Million to Replace Aging Fire Fleet

Modesto City Council (Calif.) approved $5.8 million to lease five pumper trucks and two tiller trucks at a meeting earlier this month. Replacement purchases were pushed back during the recession, and the average age of its fleet is 12 years, with the oldest vehicle 27 years old.
