Great Parks of Hamilton County, a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, is accepting applications for a fleet manager. This is a full-time position based in Winton Woods.
Lackawanna County (Penn.) has entered into a lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management for 100 of its 107 vehicles to replace county-owned cars, trucks, and vans within the next five years.
The State of Colorado Division of Central Services employs 15 fleet personnel who manage 6,200 vehicles. Scott Edwards, CAFM, fleet manager, who oversees the light- and medium-duty vehicles in the fleet, gave GF staff a tour of the fleet facility.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a highway and transportation bill that included a provision that would change how certain alternative fuels are taxed in relation to conventional fuels.
The Colorado Springs Utilities fleet employs 5 staff members and 42 contractors who manage and maintain 1,700 vehicles. Chris Lindquist, fleet supervisor, gave GF staff a tour of the joint city and utility fleet maintenance facility.
