The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA), an association of state and university fleet professionals, is embarking upon a new benchmarking survey initiative. The comprehensive survey will cover fleet organizational structure, rate setting, replacement and purchasing practices, utilization, maintenance and repair, recall management, fueling practices, and telematics.
A subcommittee of NCSFA members has developed the survey, which will be available for participation beginning Feb. 29. The deadline to reply to the survey is March 18.
“NCSFA would like to invite all state and public university fleets to participate in the 2016 survey. Membership in NCSFA is not required and those non-members who fully complete the survey will receive a discount off the membership rate,” said Cindy Dixon, NCSFA president. “NCSFA is excited about this opportunity to provide this valuable resource to our membership. This benchmarking survey is one of the top priorities for NCSFA this year. Our ability to share data, fleet practices and evaluate emerging trends is an important benefit to our members.”
Interested fleet managers can go to www.ncsfa.net to learn more about the initiative and participate.
NCSFA will release the official survey report at the upcoming NCSFA State Fleet Manager’s Workshop, September 13-15 in Portland, Maine. The official report will also be posted for members on the NCSFA website.
