The City of Dublin, Ohio, hosted the Washington Township Touch & Stuff a Truck event on Aug. 8 at a park.

Families got a chance to take a closer look at Dublin snow plows and other various vehicles used in the community, including fire trucks, medical transport vehicles, police cruisers, and tractors. Children enjoyed the opportunity to paint the plows.

Participants also took the opportunity to stuff a truck with cans of food for central Ohio food banks.

The event featured a mix of traditional and alternative-fueled vehicles.

“This was an awesome event for the community and so well attended,” said Darryl Syler, City of Dublin fleet manager. “It’s nice to live in a community that takes the time to give back to the residents. The smiles of all the kids were priceless.”

Dublin will host its own "touch a truck" event on Sept. 12 that will feature Dublin snow plows, police cruisers, and other various vehicles.
