N.M. & Fla. Cities Join Municipal Lease Program

January 14, 2010

NEW YORK - The cities of Clovis, N.M.; Flagler Beach, Fla.; and Cocoa Beach, Fla., are the latest cities to join the growing roster of local governments utilizing Sparta Commercial Services Municipal Lease Program, according to the company.

The City of Caldwell, Texas, has also recently renewed its municipal leases for a second term.

The Sparta Municipal Lease Program offers local, city, or state government agencies the opportunity to lease - rather than purchase - equipment, thereby extending the payments over a period of several years. Sparta's Municipal Lease Program can also support many other asset classes in addition to the police motorcycles leased by these cities, according to the company.

Based in New York, Sparta Commercial Services offers a variety of commercial products for governmental agencies that require motorcycles and other equipment for law enforcement activities.
