B2000P Wheel Balancing System

John Bean

January 5, 2017 - Products

John Bean's B2000P automated diagnostic wheel balancing system offers touchless measurement and analysis. The patented Opti-Line pull correction improves ride performance, rectifies pull problems that cannot be fixed by wheel alignment alone. It handles any kind of wheel, including wheels with directional lines.

In addition to the traditional attributes of John Bean's wheel balancing systems, the B2000P offers laser-based 3D profiling for automatic diagnostic analysis and automatic data entry, removing the chance for error and inaccurate results. Runout Force Vectoring diagnostics ensure uniformity based total ride quality.

Hundreds of thousands of measurement points are taken with a high resolution to create a 3D model of the tire and wheel assembly. The laser-based runout quickly and easily provides advanced geometry-related measurements compared to mechanical roller-based systems.

A high-resolution camera and laser-based topography mapping emulates the same technology used by tire manufacturers in industrial applications. Tire tread and sidewall color analysis allows depth, wear, and abnormalities to be displayed in a simple to interpret format.
